Dec 04, 2018 (newstodate): Operating scheduled and chartered domestic and international flights, the Russian carrier Ural Airlines is to expand its aircraft fleet significantly over the coming years. The airline is currently operating a fleet comprising 46 Airbus A320 Family aircraft including 15 Airbus A321-200, 24 Airbus A320-200 and 17 Airbus A319-100. The fleet is set to grow to 70 aircraft by 2025, and in 2019 alone Ural Airlines will add three Airbus A320neo and two Airbus A321LR aircraft as well as the first two of 14 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft ordered. Among the airline's European destinations are Barcelona, Bologna, Budapest, Belgrade, Warsaw and Cologne/Bonn, and new destinations in 2019 will include Amsterdam from March. Ural Airlines' main bases are Moscow Domodedovo Airport and Yekaterinburg, and the carrier is now also the largest operator at Moscow Zhukovsky Airport.
