Dec 17, 2018 (newstodate): Bolstering its position as a leading provider of capacity for Denmark's largest tour operators, the Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jet Time has landed a fresh and significant order. Denmark's 4th largest tour operator Bravo Tours has contracted Jet Time for flying some 32,000 charter passengers in summer 2019 from Copenhagen, Billund and Aalborg airports to six Mediterranean leisure destinations. By this contract, Bravo Tours will be Jet Time's 3rd largest customer among tour operators, after TUI and Apollo, accounting for 20 percent of the total production in this segment. The new contract adds further to the critical mass necessary to turn charter operations into profitable business, in the case of Jet Time further supported by a growing stake in the ACMI segment that is another focus for Jet Time providing services to airlines including Norwegian, SAS, Finnair, British Airways, airBaltic and others . In the fleet to operate the coming summer 2019 program will be eight Boeing 737 aircraft including five Boeing 737-700 and three Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
