Dec 19, 2018 (newstodate): Four new Airbus A220-300 aircraft for Latvia's airBaltic are now on final assembly line in Canada. The aircraft are slated for delivery by Q2, 2019, and the financing has been secured through a 12-year sale-lease back agreement with the UK aircraft leasing company Aviation Plc. Aviation Plc has earlier provided a similar arrangement for two other Airbus A220-300 aircraft already in service with the carrier. In the fleet of airBaltic are now 14 Airbus A220-300 aircraft, with a further 26 aircraft in the order book.
