Dec 05, 2018 (newstodate): The Finnish pilot training institute Patria has been selected by Kazakhstan for training of new cockpit crews.
The Kazakh carrier Air Astana has thus signed a contract with Patria Pilot Training for training of their future pilots till 2022.
The first students selected by Air Astana will start their 18 months training in February 2019 in Patria's facilities at Pirkkala, Finland.
Patria is already training pilots for Finnair and Norra, and the contract with Air Astana marks the training institute's international break-through.
With 2,800 employees, Patria offers pilot training at several locations at destinations in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Estonia.
