Dec 19, 2018 (newstodate): The Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jet Time is building its fleet of Boeing 737NG aircraft with more Boeing 737-800 capacity. A total of four Boeing 737-800 aircraft are joining the Jet Time fleet before the end of this year, with two already at hand - one operating for one month already out of Copenhagen and Malmo for TUI, while a second aircraft, earlier leased by TUIFly, arrived at the Jet Time base at Copenhagen on December 17 and is now temporarily on CAA registration pending Danish registration by early January 2019. The third Boeing 737-800 aircraft, earlier operated by SunExpress in Turkey, is awaited in Copenhagen before this weekend, while the fourth and last in this round of fleet expansion will join in January 2019, earlier operated by the Korean carrier Jeju Air. With these additions, Jet Time's fleet will comprise a total of five Boeing 737-700 and four Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Jet Time has been highly successful in 2018 with landing fresh orders from leading tour operators including Bravo Tours and Apollo, as well as extended cooperation with TUI after the decision to outsource TUI Nordic's own flight operations.
