Dec 18, 2018 (newstodate): Airlines are building up for a virtual battle in the air on the route connecting Denmark and Iceland in summer 2019.
The route between Copenhagen and Keflavik will be operated no less than 52 times per week by Icelandair, SAS, and WOW Air.
Icelandair is thus announcing the addition of a fifth daily rotation on the route with Boeing 757 aircraft, SAS will be providing 10 weekly rotations with airbus A320 Family aircraft, and WOW Air will operate one daily flight on the route, also served with Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
After this, it seems only fair to assume that the market is roughly satiated in summer 2019!
