Dec 03, 2018 (newstodate): Kazakhstan's Qazaq Air has obtained IOSA certification, allowing to operate scheduled international services.
The carrier has thus become the third airline in the country with IOSA certification, alongside Air Astana and SCAT.
Operating a fleet of Bombardier Q400 aircraft, Qazaq Air performed its first commercial flight on August 27, 2015, and besides being now allowed to start international services the carrier can also enter code-share agreements with other airlines under its IOSA certificate.
