Nov 05, 2018 (newstodate): The new Ukrainian carrier SkyUp has been granted all applications for regular and charter flights by the Ukrainian Sate Aviation Authority. SkyUp may thus now start scheduled flights from Kiev to Kharkov, Poprad and Abu Dhabi with three weekly rotations as well as flights from Kiev to Sofia, with two weekly rotations. SkyUp may also start charter flights from Kiev, Odessa, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Lviv, Kherson, Chernivtsi, Nikolayev, Krivoy Rog, Vinnitsa and Poltava to destinations in Egypt, India and Sri Lanka - and to Finland. In the fleet of SkyUp are now two Boeing 737-800 and one Boeing 737-700. Plans are to add three more aircraft before the end of 2018, growing further to eight aircraft in 2020, and to 12 in 2020.
