Nov 29, 2018 (newstodate): Ryanair Sun continues to grow its fleet on Polish aircraft registration.
So far, the carrier has placed 10 Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the Polish registers, and the pace is to continue.
Granted its Polish AOC on April 3, 2018, with just one Boeing 737-800 aircraft on Polish registration, the carrier operated a total of five aircraft during the summer 2018 program - its first year of operation.
Ambitions are to grow the fleet on the charter carrier's own AOC to 15 aircraft in 2019 and to 25 in 2020.
Ryanair Sun's main customers are tour operators TUI Poland and Grecos Holidays flying tourists from Krakow, Poznan and Wroclaw to leisure destinations in Greece, Spain, Croatia, Albania and Cyprus.
The market grip by Ryanair Sun has been significantly strengthened by the retreat from the market of Small Planet Airlines Poland, leaving Travel Service and Enter Air as its prime competitors.
