Nov 06, 2018 (newstodate): After implementing aviation taxes, announcing a date for switching to all-electric flights on domestic routes and building the world's first sustainable airport city at its main airport, Norway may yet take new steps to limit the ecologic foot-prints of aviation.
With little sense of humor, the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Energy and the Environment and Liberal Party member Ketil Kjenseth has reportedly proposed a quota system to limit the number of flights allowed for Norwegian citizens.
One suggestion is to set the limit at 10 flights per year.
