Nov 22, 2018 (newstodate): Based on a JV with SAS signed in May 2012, Singapore Airlines is to increase frequency and capacity on its route between Singapore and Copenhagen in 2019.
From 2019, the carrier will add two more weekly flights on the route, going up to daily rotations and at the same time replacing the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft currently used with Airbus A350-900.
With the change of aircraft type and the increased frequency, Singapore Airlines will grow its weekly seat offer by 34 percent, compared to today's capacity.
Singapore Airlines will also add one weekly rotation on the route during the summer 2019 peak period, using Boeing 767-300ER.
Singapore Airlines is thus maintaining a focus on the services to Copenhagen operated since 1977, and remaining the only direct non-stop connection between Singapore and Scandinavia.
