Nov 27, 2018 (newstodate): As the Latvian carrier airBaltic is filling its fleet with new Airbus A220-200 aircraft, its Boeing Classic aircraft are looking for new operators.
Three of the carrier's Boeing 737-500 aircraft have now found a new life with Lithuania's KlasJet.
The first ex-airBaltic Boeing 737-500 aircraft will enter service with KlasJet from January 2019, and the next two aircraft will follow in Q2, 2019.
In the fleet of KlasJet is already one similar aircraft, delivered in February 2017 and earlier operated by Russia's Transaero Airlines.
Set up in 2013 as a subsidiary of the Lithuanian aviation conglomerate Avia Solutions Group, KlasJet based at Vilnius Airport offers its services in the business aviation charter segment.
