Nov 26, 2018 (newstodate): The Hungarian LCC Wizz Air has now announced the opening of its first flights from Norway's Oslo Airport.
Starting from April 4, 2019, the carrier will launch flights on three routes from Oslo Airport to Gdansk from April 4, to Budapest from April 5, and to Krakow from September 2019 - with more to follow.
Wizz Air is already operating 31 flights from eight airports in Norway, with the base at Oslo Torp Airport as the prime destination with routes to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland and Romania.
With the entry at Oslo Airport, Wizz Air is ringing the bell for opening a new chapter of competition against Norway's LCC Norwegian.
