Nov 09, 2018 (newstodate): By world standards, passenger volumes through the three international airports of Georgia may still be insignificant - but the growth rate in 2018 calls for applause.
Taken together, the three airports of Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi saw passenger volumes up by 23 percent, y-o-y, during the first 10 months of 2018, to a total of 4,354,423 passengers.
Tbilisi Airport alone grew passenger volumes by 21 percent to 2,724,740 passengers, Kutaisi Airport was up by 39 percent to 512,386 passengers, and Batumi Airport handled 555,693 passengers, also up 19 percent in 2018.
In October 2018 alone, the passenger flow through Kutaisi Airport beat the other Georgian airports by growing no less then 78 percent, y-o-y.
