Nov 29, 2018 (newstodate): Tbilisi-based Georgian Airways is to expand its aircraft fleet over the coming few years.
The privately-owned carrier is currently negotiating the acquisition of five Embraer E195-E2 and five Boeing 737MAX aircraft, with deliveries to start from late 2019 and late 2023, respectively.
The coming new aircraft will be added to the current fleet comprising three Boeing 737-700, three Embraer E190/E195LR, and one Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft.
Celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2018, Georgian Airways, earlier named Airzena, is managed and owned by Tamaz Gaiashvili.
