Nov 28, 2018 (newstodate): Air China is now well established on the route between Beijing and Copenhagen.
Wit the first flight on May 30, 2018, the carrier is currently offering four weekly rotations using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The carrier is to increase capacity on the route from March 31, 2019, replacing the Airbus A330-200 with Airbus A330-300 offering more seats on the route in response to strong demand in the market.
Air China earlier operated flights on the route between Beijing and Copenhagen but pulled out again from 2001, leaving SAS alone in offering daily flights between the two destinations.
According to the existing air services agreement between Denmark and China, only one carrier may be designated from each side.
