Nov 28, 2018 (newstodate): Tuesday is the busiest day of the week in Norway's seafood air logistics from Oslo Airport.
On November 27, 2018, a total of 600 tonnes of fresh seafood products, primarily salmon, was lifted out of the airport in passenger aircraft belly holds as well as on eight wide-body freighters.
Suitably called "the Tuesday Challenge", the freighter traffic at Oslo Gardermoen comprises operations by Qatar Cargo, Emirates SkyCargo, AirBridgeCargo, Turkish Cargo, CAL Cargo Airlines and Korean Air Cargo as well as DHL/Atlas Air that also lifts volumes of Norwegian seafood exports.
