Oct 31, 2018 (newstodate): Launch customer for the Boeing 737-800 Converted Freighter, the Swedish/British carrier West Atlantic has now taken delivery of its 3rd aircraft.
The carrier has placed orders for a total of four freighters, leased from GECAS, and converted from passenger to cargo at Boeing's modification facility in Shanghai.
The latest new aircraft has now landed at West Atlantic's main base at British Midlands after the ferry flights from Shanghai and will shortly join the two other aircraft serving with FedEx at Liege Airport.
The last Boeing 737-800 freighter will join West Atlantic in January 2019.
