Oct 03, 2018 (newstodate): September 2018 proved unusually high on air cargo through Estonia's Tallinn Airport.
A total of 1,000 tonnes was handled at the airport which is the so far largest volume in 2018 and 13.5 percent over September 2017 that was, however, marked by a drop by 21.3 percent to a mere 870 tonnes.
In September 2016, the airport handled 774 tonnes of cargo and 226 tonnes of mail, with biggest rises on the export sides in both segments.
Export cargo was thus up 42.8 percent and export mail rose 45.6 percent, y-o-y.
During the first nine months of this year, the airport has seen its total cargo volumes up by 7.1 percent, y-o-y, to 8,546 tonnes.
