Oct 01, 2018 (newstodate): Emirates is reining in frequencies on flights to several European destinations in winter 2018/19, but one Scandinavian destination is to see an increase in services.
Emirates is thus to increase from one to two daily rotations on the route between Dubai and Stockholm Arlanda from December 1, 2018, with Boeing 777 aircraft.
Starting from September 4, 2013, Emirates introduced a daily flight between Dubai and Stockholm, using Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, offering extra 238 tonnes of weekly lower-deck capacity to the market.
In Europe, Emirates is however winding down weekly services during the winter season on other destinations including Prague, Edinburgh and Rome, while Amsterdam and Moscow will also see the weekly frequencies rising.
