Oct 05, 2018 (newstodate): In April 2019, Ryanair is expanding its network served from Sweden's Gothenburg Airport.
Plans comprise the opening of new routes to Prague and Manchester, each served with two weekly rotations, and to Barcelona with three weekly rotations.
Frequency on the carrier's route to Malta will also increased to two weekly flights, and plans are to operate the route to Edinburgh on a year-round basis from this coming winter schedule.
With the opening of the two new routes, Ryanair will be offering 16 destinations from Gothenburg Airport that became Ryanair's 74th base in summer 2015 with the stationing of one Boeing 737-800 aircraft at Gothenburg Airport, manned with 10 cockpit and 20 cabin crew members to serve 13 routes in cooperation with aircraft from other bases operating into Gothenburg.
