Oct 30, 2018 (newstodate): Norwegian seafood exporters and providers of seafood logistics drew a sigh of relief as a solution was finally found to the plights of Roadfeeders that filed for bankruptcy earlier this month.
On October 19, 2018, Coast Seafood came to the rescue by taking over Roadfeeders, thus avoiding a serious production snag that would hurt also the many airlines operating at Oslo Airport, including Norwegian, KLM/AF Cargo, Cargolux, Japan Air Lines, Thai Cargo, British Airways, Turkish Airlines, United and Finnair.
Roadfeeders had been toiling with negative figures over the last few years but reportedly suffered a blow after Avinor published its intention of establishing a new dedicated seafood terminal at Oslo Airport, which cast doubts over the future handling situation among customers.
