Oct 15, 2018 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic is one step further towards meeting the goal of Airbus A220-300 aircraft deliveries in 2018.
On October 13, 2018, the carrier took delivery of its 13th aircraft of the type that has now completed more than 16,210 flights and flown over 43,606 block hours on airBaltic routes to 35 countries and 70 airports.
This year's last, and the carrier's 14th, Airbus A220-300 delivery, is thus approaching, and the aircraft is still on the final assembly line pending roll-out and start of ground and flight tests at the Canadian plant.
The ambitious carrier will have a total of 80 Airbus A220-300 aircraft in the fleet according to a firm purchase agreement signed on May 28, 2018.
