Oct 04, 2018 (newstodate): The Icelandic LCC WOW Air has adjusted the schedule of its coming new route to India.
The first flight will, as before, lift off on December 6, 2018, but while the initial schedule comprised a start with three weekly rotations between Keflavik and New Delhi and increasing to five weekly rotations from January 7, 2019, the carrier will now stick to three rotations during the entire winter schedule.
The change is probably in response to strained capacity on the long-haul fleet caused by the delayed delivery of two Airbus A330neo aircraft that were slated for delivery by November 2018 but will not arrive until late February 2019.
The coming New Delhi services will continue till May 5, 2019, reaching into next year's summer schedule.
