Oct 05, 2018 (newstodate): Denmark's aircraft leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital has placed one Embraer E195 aircraft with a Georgian airline.
Based at Tbilisi, Georgian Airways will be operating the aircraft on a lease contract, bringing the fleet to nine aircraft including three Boeing 737-700, three Embraer E190, one E195, and one Bombardier CRJ200LR.
The Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia has given its green light for Georgian Airways to launch services on a spree of new routes from Tbilisi to European destinations, including flights from Tbilisi to Bratislava, Berlin, Barcelona, Brussels, Bologna, Cologne, Paris, Athens and Thessaloniki - all starting from summer 2018.
