Oct 10, 2018 (newstodate): Boeing 757 is not the most commonly used aircraft type in Russia - but number of aircraft and operators is growing.
Boeing 757-200 operators include Azur Air with eight passenger aircraft and IFly with one unit, all in passenger version, and Royal Flight operates six Boeing 757-200 aircraft on its routes.
In 2017, only one converted Boeing 757-200F was operated by a Russian carrier, but this year the Russian start-up freighter airline Erofey has introduced its first unit and plans to grow the fleet to five Boeing 757-200F.
Aviastar-TU has also added one Boeing 757-200F to its fleet in 2018.
