Jan 08, 2018 (newstodate): Norwegian is strengthening its presence in the Finnish market with announcing a spree of new route from Helsinki in 2018.
The carrier is already operating flights from its base at Helsinki to Copenhagen, Dubai, Dublin, Gran Canary, Malaga, Nice, Prague and Stockholm Arlanda.
New to come by the end of 2018 and beginning of 2019 are flights to another 11 destinations including Budapest, London Gatwick, Oslo and Paris.
The new flights will start from October 2018 onward a the carrier takes in new more Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft under an order for 104 aircraft delivered from June 2017.
In April 2010, Norwegian started operating flights to Helsinki, bolstering its presence in the market by setting up an operational base at Helsinki Airport from spring 2011.
Norwegian is today the airport's second-largest airline in terms of operations, and set to grow.
