Jan 29, 2018 (newstodate): Norwegian is to increase its presence further in Finland with the opening of new routes from Helsinki in Summer 2018.
Starting from March 26, 2018, the carrier is thus to launch flights on a new route between Helsinki airport and Krakow, offering two weekly rotations with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Norwegian has also announced the addition of a further three new destinations from Helsinki - Malaga, Alicante and Rhodes to be served during the coming summer schedule.
Earlier, Norwegian has announced an increase in frequency on seasonal flights from Helsinki to a number of leisure destinations including Pristina, Athens, Crete, Venice, Varna, Pula and Dubrovnik.
In April 2010, Norwegian started operating flights to Helsinki from Stockholm and Oslo, bolstering its presence in the Finnish market by setting up an operational base at Helsinki Airport from spring 2011.
Today, Norwegian is the 2nd largest operator in terms of number of flights at Helsinki Airport.
