Jan 16, 2018 (newstodate): The Danish MRO provider Northern Aerotech has now added Berlin Tegel Airport as its latest expansion to its coverage.
Driving the set-up at Berlin Tegel is the Latvian charter and ACMI provider SmartLynx Airlines.
In November 2017, SmartLynx landed a new wet-lease contract with the European low-cost airline easyJet.
Under the contract SmartLynx has placed six Airbus A320 aircraft with easyJet from January 7 till March 31, 2018 to operate from easyJet's base in Berlin Tegel Airport providing capacity for flights to various destinations in Europe.
With Morten Schalls Jorgensen as CEO, Northern Aerotch with HQs at Copenhagen Airport is thus now present at 24 stations across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
