Jan 11, 2018 (newstodate): Latest cargo statistics from Denmark's Copenhagen Airport show a growth in the first 11 months of 2017 by five percent, y-o-y.
In January-November 2017 the airport thus handled a total of 331,684 tonnes, compared to 315,748 tonnes in same period 2016.
Of the total volume, cargo in passenger aircraft belly holds accounted for 107,103 tonnes, up six percent, while freighters generated 59,874 tonnes, a drop by 10 percent.
Trucked cargo during the period was 78,025 tonnes, an increase by nine percent, y-o-y.
Finally, mail volumes during January-November 2017 accrued to 23,835 tonnes, an increase by 12 percent.
