Jan 10, 2018 (newstodate): Vehement rumors have it that China Cargo Airlines will stop its freighter service at Copenhagen Airport from February 2018.
This is, however, not confirmed by an airline representative in Copenhagen Airport.
-We are of course aware of the rumors but we have had no official information from our headquarters in Shanghai that the freighter operations are to be closed down, the China Cargo Airlines representative tells newstodate.
-One fact is that China Cargo Airlines will commence twice-weekly freighter operations at Frankfurt Airport from March 2018, but whether or not this will in any way affect the operations at Copenhagen Airport remains to be seen. So far we have no indication about this.
Currently operating three weekly Boeing 777F rotations on the route from Shanghai to Copenhagen and returning via Tianjin to Shanghai, China Cargo Airlines made its first appearance with MD-11F freighters in Copenhagen Airport in January 2007 and has since been on/off as well as repeatedly adjusting its schedule for flights between Shanghai and Copenhagen.
