Jan 31, 2018 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic is to increase its presence at Estonia's Tallinn Airport from this autumn.
Starting from October 28, 2018, airBaltic will add a second Bombardier Q400 aircraft at Tallinn Airport to support the opening of flights on two new routes to Stockholm and Oslo.
Flights to Stockholm will be operated 12 times weekly, and flights to Oslo will be offered with two weekly rotations from October 28.
With these new routes airBaltic will be offering nine destinations by direct non-stop flights from Tallinn Airport, in addition to transfer options via Riga Airport.
The new airBaltic flights will further boost competition in the Estonian market where both Nordica and SAS are already offering flights between Tallinn and Stockholm, while the route from Tallinn to Oslo is served by Nordica and Norwegian.
