Sep 25, 2017 (newstodate): A new Swedish virtual airline, Montefly is being established to provide flights between Scandinavia and the Balkan region.
According to industry sources, the first flight will be offered already on December 22, 2017, on a route from Banja Luka, in Bosnia-Herzegovina, to Gothenburg and returning to Podgorica in Montenegro.
Behind Montefly is the Swedish company Group Fun Travel AB, managed by Namko Kovacevic, with Toni Ante Basic as Deputy Director.
No official announcement has been made, and the operator of the planned flights is also not known, while sources indicate that the Swedish carrier BRA might be in the picture.
