Sep 25, 2017 (newstodate): As reported by newstodate already in July, Finland will indeed see the start of new China-services from 2018.
Finavia has now announced that the Chinese low-cost carrier Lucky Air will launch flights on a new route from Kunming via Chengdu continuing to Helsinki Airport.
The flights will commence with two weekly rotations from January 17, 2018, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Adding to Finnair's flight program to China, Helsinki Airport will then have direct connections to nine Chinese destinations, including Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Chengdu, Kunming, and Hong Kong.
Based at Kunming, Lucky Air, set up in 2004, now operates a fleet comprising 43 aircraft.
