Sep 25, 2018 (newstodate): Finnair has now taken delivery of its 11th Airbus A350-900 aircraft, completing this year's delivery schedule.
After four test flights, the aircraft was released from the Airbus factory at Toulouse on September 22, 2018, for flight to its future base at Helsinki Airport.
Finnair received its first Airbus A350 aircraft from Airbus on October 7, 2015 and has placed orders for a total of 19 A350-900 aircraft that will all have been delivered by 2023.
As the first European carrier to take in the Airbus A350, Finnair is today the 4th largest operator of the aircraft type, after Cathay Pacific with 18, Singapore Airlines with 17, and Qatar Airways with 15 Airbus A350 in their fleets.
