Sep 18, 2017 (newstodate): Iran Air is to increase its services to the Swedish market.
Starting from the coming winter schedule on October 31, 2017, the carrier will add a second weekly frequency to its flights from Tehran to Gothenburg, in Sweden.
Until April, the carrier was using Airbus A300 aircraft on the route with an en-route stop at Prague, but Iran Air is now operating the route with Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Iran Air is also serving Sweden's capital, Stockholm with two weekly rotations from Tehran using Airbus A330-200 aircraft, going up to three weekly rotations from November 2017.
Stockholm Arlanda was actually the carrier's first destination served with the Airbus A330-200 from May 3, 2017 after Iran Air took delivery of its first aircraft of this type only in March 2017.
