Sep 21, 2017 (newstodate): The Danish tour operator Apollo is behind a strong effort to promote Albania as a market for Nordic tourist traveling.
Starting from May 12, 2018, Apollo has contracted Small Planet Airlines to operate a weekly flight between Oslo and Tirana with Airbus A321 aircraft.
Small Planet Airlines will also be operating flights to Tirana from Stockholm, while Danish Air Transport has been contracted to operate flights to Tirana from Copenhagen with Airbus A320 aircraft, and Jet Time will fly Finnish travelers to Tirana from Helsinki, also using Airbus A320 aircraft.
The direct nonstop flights to Albania will be the first services in the Nordic markets.
