Sep 26, 2017 (newstodate): Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport has landed its first scheduled foreign carrier operating to Istanbul.
With the launch flight on September 25, 2017, the Turkish carrier AtlasGlobal has added Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport to its network, offering daily flights to Istanbul Ataturk Airport using Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
Moscow has thus become the carrier's fifth destination in Russia, alongside Chelyabinsk, Kaliningrad, Kazan, and Nizhny Novgorod.
Another Turkish carrier, Anadolujet operating for its parent, Turkish Airlines, is also on-line at Moscow, but flying into Moscow Domodedovo Airport from Istanbul Gokcen Airport since August 2, 2010, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
