Sep 01, 2017 (newstodate): August 2017 proved another month of growth in cargo volumes through Denmark's Billund Airport.
A total of 6,072 tonnes of cargo was handled - an increase by nine percent, y-o-y.
In August, imports grew by 11.5 percent to 2,440 tonnes while exports also rose 7.3 percent to a total of 3,632 tonnes.
During the first eight months of 2017, the airport is thus seeing its volumes up by 9.6 percent, y-o-y, to 46,172 tonnes, including 16,523 tonnes of imports, up 10.3 percent, and 29,649 tonnes of exports, also up by 9.2 percent during the period.
