Aug 07, 2017 (newstodate): The Romanian carrier Tarom has plans for new intercontinental traffic from summer 2018.
To boost its expansion plans with flights from Romania to the USA and China, the carrier is in the market for acquisition of three wide-body aircraft in the form of a tender process expiring by August 31, 2017.
Not excluding used aircraft, Tarom has specified its need for twin-engine aircraft not older than 2012 and offering a range of minimum 5,200 nautical miles, in-flight entertainment systems, Wi-fi, seats with leather cover and a resting area for staff.
The aircraft must also offer cargo capacity with temperature control.
