Aug 04, 2017 (newstodate): The 11th Airbus A350 for Finnair is now on the flightline at the Airbus factories in Toulouse, awaiting first flight.
After this, delivery is slated for September 2017, completing the A350 delivery schedule for this year.
The 11th Airbus AQ350 has Airbus production number 134 - and the next production aircraft for Finnair is placed as #267, so there will be a slip in deliveries after this year's last new arrival at Helsinki Airport.
Finnair received its first Airbus A350 aircraft from Airbus on October 7, 2015 and has placed orders for a total of 19 A350-900 aircraft that will all have been delivered in 2023.
Finnair has also now launched a cockpit crew recruitment campaign seeking up to 100 new pilots by 2018, calling on both experienced pilots as well as candidates for ab-inition training to steer the airline's growing Airbus A350 fleet in the coming years.
