Aug 31, 2017 (newstodate): Denmark's Billund Airport will see more traffic by Finnair in next year's summer schedule.
The airline has announced the route from Helsinki to Billund to be among a spree of destinations to see frequency rising, and adding one the carrier will thus be serving the route with up to eight weekly rotations during S'18.
Finnair began flying to Billund on April 4, 2016 with Embraer E190 aircraft, soon replaced by the introduction of Airbus A319 aircraft on the route.
Due to shortage of pilots, Finnair has also periodically operated the route with Superjet 100 aircraft on a damp lease contract with CityJet.
Serving as cargo GSSA for Finnair Cargo in the Danish market since August 2010 is Cargo Care International.
