During January-July 2017, the carrier grew its trafffic, measured in number of flights, by 14 percent, y-o-y, but the number of passengers was up even more, by 20 percent, reflecting in a growth in passenger load factor by 1.9 percentage-points.
In July 2017, the trend was similar, with number of flights up by 16 percent, passengers volumes up by 21 percent, and the average load factor increasing by 2.4 percentage-points.
In July 2017, the Latvian airline airBaltic carried 393,312 passengers. For the second consecutive month this was the biggest number of transported passengers in the airlines history.
