Aug 09, 2017 (newstodate): A decision may be announced later this autumn to increase frequency on the freighter route from Lakselv carrying seafood exports for onward flights from Oslo Gardermoen Airport.
The once-weekly flight was inaugurated on May 23, 2017, by an Airbus A330F from DHL.
Reports are that the loads on the route have fully lived up to expectations and even provide a solid case for more frequencies in addition to the current Tuesday flight operation.
The freighter from Lakselv serves a number of seafood exporters in the northern part of Norway, including the country's leading exporter of king crabs, Cape Fish, sparing exporters for days of road feeder transportation into uplift from Oslo Gardermoen Airport.
