Aug 07, 2017 (newstodate): The Irish carrier CityJet has now started recruiting cabin crew members for its third base for the coming SAS operations.
The new vacancies are opened for cabin crew staff to be based at Stockholm Arlanda serving the CRJ fleet to be operated on flights out of Sweden on SAS' route network, and the carrier is also now seeking CRJ900 cabin crews with Scandinavian language skills to be stationed at Dublin.
Since June 2017, Cityjet has been active in recruiting First Officers and Captains to join the team on the CRJ900 aircraft, as well as a cabin crew supervisor and fresh cabin crew to be based at Vilnius, Lithuania as the second base in the Baltic region after Tallinn, Estonia, announced in April 2017.
Already cooperating with SAS, CityJet acquired Cimber from the SAS Group by the start of this year, including its 11 CRJ900 aircraft, and at the same time the two parties entered a new agreement for CityJet to operate a number of regional SAS routes.
CityJet is already operating for SAS under a wet-lease contract to be extended and requiring CityJet to add another 10 new CRJ900 aircraft beyond the 12 aircraft already on the wet-lease contract with SAS.
