Jul 04, 2017 (newstodate): The Russian charter and scheduled carrier Nordwind has taken delivery of the last of six ex-Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737-800 aircraft on a lease contract.
The aircraft completed its technical acceptance procedure on June 20, 2017, and all six aircraft in the series have been supported by ADG, the Icelandic provider of technical and engineering services cooperating with the Danish aircraft maintenance company Aeroservice to deliver customers a complete package of aircraft technical, engineering and maintenance services.
While Pegasus Airlines is not part of the EASA environment, but together with ADG, CAMO-approved ADG and EASA Part-145 certified Aeroservice offers complex and comprehensive solutions in compliance with EASA requirements.
Based at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport, Nordwind Airlines was founded in August 2008 by the Russian and Turkish branches of tour operator Pegasus Touristik and operates a fleet now comprising 27 aircraft.
