Jul 31, 2017 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic has now added the sixth Bombardier CS300 aircraft to its fleet.
The aircraft was delivered at Riga Airport on July 21, 2017 - but more spectacularly, the aircraft entered commercial service with the airline within only 55 minutes after the 7 hours and 25 minutes delivery flight from Montreal, which is probably a world record.
Thus far, airBaltic has completed more than 2,163 scheduled flights and flown over 5,523 block hours with the new Bombardier CS300 aircraft.
By the end of 2019, airBaltic is planning to have all 20 Bombardier CS300 aircraft so far ordered in its fleet.
