WIZZ Air first entered the Norwegian market - the carrier's 18th - from September 19, 2006, with the launch of flights on the route between Katowice, Poland, and Oslo.
Earlier, the carrier also tested flights to another destination in Norway: from May 1, 2009, Wizz Air suspended services between Norway's Oslo Sandefjord Airport and Budapest after only one month of operations.
