Jun 14, 2017 (newstodate): Two more airlines in Kazakhstan have now been cleared to launch flights into EU airspace.
Prime Aviation and Kaz Air Jet have obtained EASA's confirmation of the successful completion of all necessary procedures and full compliance with European requirements allowing them open access to start flights to destinations in EU.
One more Kazakh carrier, SCAT, is also now advanced in the process to obtain full EASA confirmation to operate into EU airspace.
The first Kazakh carrier to obtain this EASA ranking was Air Astana after EU in December 2016 lifted Kazakhstan's carriers off its Air Safety List comprising airlines that do not meet international safety standards and are therefore banned from operations into EU, or operate with specific limitations.
