Jun 07, 2017 (newstodate): The Irish airline CityJet has now taken delivery of its sixth Russian regional aircraft, Sukhoi Superjet 100.
The aircraft was flown into Brussels Airlines' base at Brussels where it has been placed on a wet-lease contract with Brussels Airlines.
Brussels Airlines already operates two Superjet 100 aircraft on a similiar wet-lease contract with CityJet, replacing the airline's Avro RJ100 aircraft.
The Irish airline will take in 15 Superjet 100 aircraft with an option for additional 16 units.
The airline took delivery of its first three aircraft in 2016, with the remainder to follow from 2017 onward.
